Art school was the best thing to happen to me. Its like, being in a colony made just for me. People are leaving, transfering out. I could never understand why you would want too. I just found my place. As Mrs. Stangle said...
"You really picked the right school for you. Most kids want to transfer after their first year but not you."

I really got a good thing going here. My roommate is awesome. My bathmate is the sweetest girl alive. Everyone complains about their bathmate and roommate. Not me!
GAH!

Oh!

In ten days. [Its too early to count and im not sure what the date is. Haha] is my birthday! Ill finally be a big girl and join everyone in the land of eighteen. Another girl here is EXACTLY the same age as me. We are the only seventeen year olds. Both born on November 2oth 1991. Its kinda awesome!

Andi said she would start a food fight on my birthday! Im excited! Ive never been apart of a food fight before so this will be interesting. I wonder where she is going to start it....hmmm.

Today, probably later in the night, Andi, Lindsey, Molly, and I are going to see "The Fourth Kind" I hope it scares the crap out of me!

Well I got to go. Class starts in like. Fifteen minutes and I should probably get something to eat.

_{Hello.

Its been awhile, I know. I just finally found free time to update this thing! Yay!

School's going fantastically. The only thing im pissed about is 3D. We are doing an assignment I have no interest in, its called 1000 Things. [Im doing buttons] We basically get one thousand things and make something. Its a weird assignment. The next assignment we were going to do was a Body Extension with cardboard. I had the BEST idea and had it all planned out, my stupid 3D teacher Gary cancelled it.
"I want one good project instead of two not so great ones."

Ugh. This project already sucks so the Body Extension was going to raise my grade. My class is the only one who got it cancelled too. If I find time I may do it for extra credit. Or one day when im home, aka winter break or summer vacation, I might do it.

Besides that everything is good at school.
Arin went crazy this morning and she had the sudden urge to rearrange our entire room. It was CRAZY! Its really awesome now though! A massive group of people just ran in and went crazy. They adored it! Arin's bed is legit on the ground and mines still way high. Its going to be interesting. =]

Halloween was FANTASTIC! Hung out with friends and got to get dressed up for two days! It made me happy! I went the gothic route. There's a picture uploaded, it was fun pulling off the dark look. Though I was still a happy smiling lady. I even went Trick or Treating! I haven't done that since like, Sophomore year! It was great! I used the "im the youngest" to my advantage that night! Haha. Went on a Haunted Hayride too! It was great! I also carved my first ever pumpkin! I did the classic happy Jack O Lanturn! I wish I got a picture of it!

I wish I was old enough to vote. I wanted to vote No on One! If you are located in Maine and can vote go do it!!!!
No on One is basically saying that Gays should be allowed to marry. The second floor RA Johnny was hilarious.
"If Yes on one passes im marrying the first guy I see!"
Ive never understood why gays cant marry. Hey if they want to be miserable like the rest of us let them!
[FYI I dont think that. I think marriage can be a lot better than misery!]

Speaking of "FYI" my FYI class is okay. Had to take my video Time Sensitive Portrait and "Take it to the next level" So basically I changed the whole thing into a bigger version of "Shout It Out" Everyone should give a Shout It Out a swing. Its a lot of fun. =]

What else, oh people have been annoying me. I wont list names but certain people have just been bothering me a lot lately. Ugh its aggravating. Luckily I got awesome people who haven't bothered me to help. =]

I know its been awhile but I have just been so busy! So many fun things have been going on!

Well school wise its still awesome. In the past couple of weeks in Lang and Comp we wrote Howls, found out who I was as a person and Analyzed ourselves. What do I mean by that? A Howl is basically a rant about something. I wrote about when kids wish there parents were dead. It sickens me so much that kids would wish that. Try going through life without a parent and than see how you feel!!!! ... Sorry, got a bit worked up.

For the next part we basically took this personality quiz to figure out who we were. I am a Warrior Magician! WOO!

Analyzing ourselves was WICKED fun. Basically we wrote down a color and used three words to describe it. Wrote down an animal and used three words to describe it. Than we had to picture we were in the forest and found a container. Describing what it looked like and what was inside. Than we were still in the woods and came across a wall. Describe everything about it and how you get to the other side of it. Finally we come to a body of liquid. It can be anything from a cup of water to an ocean, and describe it.

Ill share my answers with you so you can better understand this.

I am walking in the forest and find a little cherrywood box. It’s about a hand and a half long. On the lid there is a Celtic looking carving. In the center of the carving there is a small lock. Beneath the box there is an old rusty key. Inside the box is an old but gorgeous ring with a topaz center stone. A cold metal band with my name carved on it.

Still walking in the forest I come across a wall, except it really isn’t a wall, its a fence. A classic white picket fence. Still perfectly white since the day it was painted. I notice its very out of place in the forest. I do not want to hop it, not wanting to ruin it so I follow it all the way till it finally comes to an end at a river. I wade through the water to get to the other side. Once thats done I look at the fence once more before continuing on my way.

I come across a small lake. I notice that the water is bright pink. Like pink lemon aid. I go to it, kneel, and taste it and find that it is in-fact pink lemon aid. I look around and see there is a small wooden boat painted white and with a sheet for a sail. I hop in and sail to the darkest pink in the lake. Once there I peer into the lake for a few minutes until lemons suddenly float to the top. I grab one and feel the lemony texture. I put it back in the water and let it float along with the other lemons.

Now each of these things means something. Im not going to share what they are because if people take this quiz I dont want people to know the meanings until afterwards. If know one takes it I will than say what each thing means.

Yesterday I went with one of my besties Molly, and , Tessa, Anna, and one other girl and saw HARYY AND THE POTTERS! WOO! It was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooo much fun! I LOVED it! I hope they come back to Portland. Oh I bought a shirt too! It says:

Haha its funny for me to be waring such a shirt.

What else, what else.

Finally started reading Watchmen. Im apparently pop culture deprived. So yeah.
Im drawing a new Shout It Out. My old one sucks so im re-doing it. This one sucks too since I cant draw but eh. It happens. 2D has shown my just how 3D I really am. Ceramics = Love.

Well im gonna go. Me and the besties Aka Molly, Lindsey, and Andi....oh just found out Claire is coming too, are going to Goodwill.

Oh speaking of Claire. Molly, Lindsey, Claire and I had...and I quote "A FUCKING SEANCE!" Frank didn't really talk to us though. Bummer. Oh if you didn't know my resident hall and school is haunted! I LOVE it!

Anyways I gotta go. Andi is waiting in the cafe for us!

_{Hello.

Life's just been so busy its been hard to update! I haven't even written in my real journal for awhile. Ill have to do that soon.
Anyways

Last night was Henna Tattoo night. It was pretty awesome. Since I dont like real tattoo's Henna are perfect. You draw on the design with the Henna. Let it dry for at the very least two hours, and than peel it off and see your stain. I just did a bunch of swirls around my left hand. I like it. =]

I gotta do some weird self portrait for FYI. Im doing a video documentary basically about me. Its different and I REALLY hope this works out. Arin said she would help me so its all good. I may stay start filming the opening, introduction today. Since that should be the most difficult part and I have the room to myself, since Arin is working at the Common Ground Fair today.
We all had to do community service for FYI and I did the Wayside Soup Kitchen. I LOVE working at them. You just feet so humble afterwards. A friend once told me I was one of the most humble people she knows. Its such a great feeling, I hope you all feel it one day!

Marian [Ceramics teacher] told me she thinks the reason my cylinders are so thick is because I dont have self confidence in my work. I had to keep my jaw from dropping right there. I have plenty of self confidence. Im just rusty at throwing. I haven't done it since junior year of high school! Im sure she did not mean to insult me and just give me advice but it was still....weird. Ive NEVER had a teacher say such a thing to be before. Though I think this will just make be a better thrower in the end.

Molly and I went to see "Jennifer's Body" Its ridiculous. We laughed the whole time. Just dont go see it. Luckily the movie theaters here are cheaper than back home so it wasn't a huge loss of money.

So yesterday I spent the day with Lindsey and Andrea. We went to Old Port first and I got a wool Owl Hat! I loves it very much. I got soooooo many compliments on it, its was ridiculous. Than we went to the mall and I got a Breakfast Club Poster. A Labyrinth Poster. A Owl City shirt. New headphones. Ummm I think thats it. Also the guy working at the pizza place was checking me out. It was sooooooo weird. Since well...those things dont happen to me. Also yesterday this guy who I dont know. Who apparently was at my school in my grade, [not in the yearbook] friended me. He sends me a message that says "hi", and than, "your cute". It was weird.

So im still loving college with every fiber of my being. Its really all its cracked up to be! All the people are just so nice and I fit in so well. I feel so at home here. =]

Oh, October im being forced against my will to go home for fall break. Im kinda bummed but everyone I told is REALLY excited. Like, its ridiculous. Well...no its not, I just think its kinda funny. Its just me, nothing special. Im gonna be taking the train. I already ordered my tickets and everything. Mainly because mum said if I dont get tickets and stay here, she will drive up to Maine and drag me home! Haha. I chose the train option. Plus trains are awesome! Im gonna take the Amtrak from Portland to Boston. Than the Union from Boston to Worcester. Its going to be a busy day! Once im home im totally going to go visit Wachusett. Its going to be fun. =]

Oh what made yesterday awesome was getting to talk to my little sister! Now those of you who know me are probably like...."What? Anne, you dont have a little sister." Oh but I do. Sure we are not related in any way shape or form, but she is still my little sister. Anyways we talked while I was on the bus and she told be about school and her personal problems. Had to threaten her a few times but I think the message got across. I cant to see her during fall break, along with all my other friends! [Still wish I was staying here though =/ ]

Today is such a gross day. All cold and rainy. Not sure what's on the agenda for today. Ehhh oh well. I never seem to have anything planned except doing wash. Haha.

Well im going to go now. Im talking to my other mother on facebook!

_{....TIRED.
I have just spent the last three and a half hours making clay! Its sooooo tiring. It gets so hot in the clay making room. Im covered from head to toe in clay. Ill shower later, right now im DEVOURING my dinner. Im sooooo freaking hungry!
I dont mind making the clay, its getting it out of the mixer and cleaning.

Okay so basically here's how you do it.

1. Wet the inside of the mixer.
2. Fill two buckets four times [half a bucket each time. Slip gets heavy!] with slip and dump it in.
3. Turn on the mixer.
4. Dump as much clay power into the mixer as needed.
5. Once the clay is ready dig through it all and get it all out of the mixer. This is the most difficult because its like back breaking labor!
6. Shut off all the power [minus the lights] and clean everything up.
PS Dont forget your face mask! Cant be breathing in ANYTHING in that room.

Two batches took three and a half hours. My team mate Lindsey had to leave me to finish it alone because she had Drawing and I had no class. Well I wont have to make it again for awhile so its all good.
Making it really makes you appreciate your clay.
