Good and Bad

Mon Jun 15, 2009, 11:40 PM
Well lets see. Where shall I begin. Lets start with the bad.
On Saturday one of my favorite teachers, who I had freshman and first semester senior year suddenly passed away. There was nothing wrong with him. He had been at the doctors on wednesday and they said nothing was wrong. Than bam, he was gone. Mr. Ingalls was a huge impact on many students lives, including my own and will be terribly missed. There are so many good stories about him. I have one I just love.

It was during first semester Novel and Film Class. My class was rather quiet and never had questions. So I became the question kid. ALWAYS had one ready for Mr. Ingalls every day. Anyways every day I was always the first person to class, even before Mr. Ingalls. So I would always sit in his chair and at his desk. The nicest seat in the class. When ever he came in [which was usually after the bell rang] I would stand and go to my seat. One day he came in a bit earlier and I was sitting there, except I did not stand right away. He turned and went to my desk and sat down with his hands folded. Than all of a sudden he raised his hand and began doing the whole "Ow!! Oww!!" So I called on him. "Yes Mr. Ingalls?" Now remember im the question kid and was the only one he believed to be reading the book "Beloved". So with a nice little attitude [obviously joking] he cleared his throat and said. "I read the whole book backwards, in Greek." The WHOLE class began laughing like maniacs, including me. I than took my seat back.
It was one of the best moments we shared together. =]

Here are two articles. The second is the obituary

Okay onto better news, I finally got to hang out with Steven. I have not seen him in forever so it was nice. We had a sleep over and I weaseled my way into a second. I was actually at Steven's when I heard about Mr. Ingalls from Alexis. [:iconlemondemonite:]
Anyways back to happy news.
Lauren, Julie [:iconrusssian:] and I were going to have a NCIS and fire party. Just watch the show, roast some marsh mellows. You know just hang out. I ended up coming late [because I was at Stevens], but when I did show up everything was a little weird. I pulled into the drive way and began petting Rosie [Lauren's dog] and her little sister Emma and two other girls [cousins I think] came and were watching me, looking rather excited. So I walked with Rosie into the house and Mrs. Dowd was smiling and asking me how I was. She told me Lauren was on the deck so I walk out and Abby and Heather [:iconpurpleshiznaq40:] were there. Which at first did not click. Than Julie jumped out and screamed "SURPRISE!!!" At first I was confused. I knew she was going to be at Lauren's so I had no idea what she meant. Lauren comes up to me and hugs me saying "Its your graduation party!" I was totally shocked. My friends threw me a surprise graduation party! I was so surprised. I was so touched that I almost cried. I never had a surprise party before! I always wanted one but how lame would it be to ask for one. I would know it would be coming and where is the fun in that? They got me balloons, a cake, some gifts; it was sooooooooooo nice. We did not watch NCIS but we did roast marsh mellows. =]
I ended up bringing them all home with me for a sleep over [Minus Heather who had work], mainly because I did not want to drive home alone for some reason.
So besides the death of a beloved teacher, the weekend was really nice.

Okay so its late or early and I am tired.

Once you enter the tunnel of darkness, a bad event may occur. Once you get out of the dark tunnel, a bright warm light comes and reveals a great event.

Bad things happen to good people so the good people can learn to do great things on their own.

I has a blast. I kept asking mum to let me throw one but she kept saying no. Than when I showed up at Lauren's and you guys planned one for me I was beside my self. I was very touched.
You know what, you could have laughed and I probably would have just rolled by eyes. xDDD
